Quality
ISO 17100:2015
The international standard ISO 17100 is a guarantee of quality and professionalism. It is an attestation of our compliance with translation service requirements. Every step of our translation process is regularly analysed, starting with the selection of our translators. Regarding interpretation, no specific standard exists.
Solten goes further than the ISO 17100 standard and is committed to collaborating with translators and interpreters who work into their mother tongue, to ensure the highest quality. In addition, they must justify experience in your line of business.
ISO 9001:2015
This certification refers to quality in all its aspects. It describes the best qualitative practices, sets guidelines and tools to follow.
Our agency dedicates one of its departments to quality: this ensures that the company is committed to moving in this direction, to the performance and consistency of our methods, as well as the continuous improvement of quality at Solten (selection and evaluation of our suppliers, customer satisfaction follow-up). The workflow within our group is constantly challenged in order to improve our quality according to the ISO 9001 norm.
ISO 14001:2015
This standard demonstrates our environmental responsibility.
Because the people who make up Solten consider that it is essential to reduce our impact on climate change. Our company endeavours to reduce its consumption of energy, paper and ink, recycles its waste, improves air quality in its premises, limits its travel, encourages the use of public transport…
We carry out the actions defined by the ISO and our objective is always to improve ourselves.
Solten commits to:
– the quality of the services provided
– advantageous rates
– deadlines set according your requirements
– tailor-made services
– organisational know-how
– continuous follow-up
– systematic checks before delivery
– the security and confidentiality of your data
Solten ensures the security and confidentiality of the data and documents you entrust us with, by following the recommendations of the ISO 27001 standard. This principle is in line with our CSR policy, one of the pillars of which is professional ethics. In addition, we require our translators to sign a confidentiality and non-competition agreement. Internally, our teams are regularly made aware of these issues. Any document to be translated or oral content is treated with the same attention in terms of confidentiality.
CSR
Solten has integrated the principle of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a full element of its corporate culture. Our strategy and operational activities reflect our concern for social and environmental issues to which Solten is committed on a daily basis.
This conscious approach is reflected in both our values and practices and is the subject of continuous improvement. Solten demonstrates transparency and ethics in its interactions and actions. For example, we make every effort to ensure the well-being of our employees and respect parity and gender equality within our agencies, including in management positions.
The main actions implemented by Solten in our agencies and with our suppliers concern:
- the environment: saving energy, reducing and sorting waste, optimising travel
- social commitment: hiring policy in favour of people with disabilities
- professional ethics
- sustainable purchasing
